Instructions for the use of templates

1. Choose the template that you would like to use.

2. Open up the template by clicking on the link and it will open up automatically. If you do not have Microsoft Word this will not work. If the link does open you will need to: if you are a PC user right click on the link and save target as. Save it into a folder or onto a disk. If you are a Mac user you will hold your mouse over the link and when the pop-up screen comes up and click on download link to disk. Save it into a folder or onto a disk.

3. Once the document is opened in Word you are ready to begin.

4. The text which is in gray boxes is changeable text. Click on the gray box and begin to type. You can type as much or as little as you would like.

5. The text which appears normal is to be left alone. That text is the headers and descriptors for what you will be filling in.

6. Once you have finished filling in the template you will need to save the document as a name that you create. It will not allow you to save the edited document as the current name.

*****When using a Macintosh and the web browser Safari if you are unable to locate the document check the desktop. Safari defaults the download to the desktop and often does not notify the user that is where the document is being put.*****
